Job Summary
Warehouse Assistant responsible for receiving, unpacking, put-away of inbound shipments, and picking/packing customer orders in Richemont's Distribution Centre. Duties include reading orders, moving materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas; sorting items by size/type/color/product code; operating material handling equipment (MHE) to transfer, store, and pick products; assembling orders onto pallets, relabeling, repacking, labeling parcels for shipping; recording quantities in the system; assisting with physical inventory counts; maintaining 100% accuracy for picked/packed items and goods receipt; performing ad-hoc maintenance; and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Requirements include 1–3 years of related experience or training (or equivalent), ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures, ability to follow written or oral instructions, problem-solving in standardized situations, and SAP/MHE experience is an added advantage. The role requires potential overtime and shifts; location is Singapore.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in SAP and operating material handling equipment (MHE) is an added advantage
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
