Job Summary
Assist the Warehouse Manager with planning, directing, and coordinating transportation, storage, and distribution activities, including managing day-to-day operations of freight, returns, receiving, parcels, and transfers. Recruit, train, and retain warehouse team members while supervising and appraising staff to maintain high accuracy in daily operations. Process orders, operate mechanical and IT systems, and liaise with customers and internal departments. Ensure quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met, administer stock control, and assist with managing budgets. Utilize spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications to manage large amounts of information, create reports, and communicate data effectively.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge in distribution, shipping and receiving, forklift operation, or picking and packing.
- Display strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong time management skills; demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Competence in using computer applications to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information.
- Ability to utilize spreadsheets by using a computer application to enter, manipulate, and format text and numerical data; insert, delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and columns; and create and save worksheets, charts, and graphs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
