Warehouse Assistant (Machine Shop)

Job Summary
Manage receipt, inspection, and documentation of raw materials, tooling, and machined parts against purchase orders and delivery documents. Process goods receipts and close purchase orders in the JDE system while maintaining accurate inventory records and issuing materials to the Machine Shop. Coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability and support uninterrupted manufacturing activities. Maintain daily warehouse activity logs, perform stock counts, and uphold clean, organized, and safe standards in accordance with 5S and HSE requirements. Assist the Quality Control team with documentation for inspections, certifications, and invoicing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory operations
- Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Experience using ERP systems
- Experience with inventory management processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using JDE
- Basic understanding of machine shop materials, tooling, and production workflows
