Job Summary
Assist the Logistics Team in staging product, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and transferring goods from production to warehouse storage. Organize cold and dry storage areas, perform daily cleaning routines, and safely operate forklifts and hand trucks to move merchandise, beer, and mail. Inspect received goods, update inventory totals, separate damaged items, and ensure all products leaving the facility meet code requirements. Requires a valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 100 pounds with frequent movement. Flexible schedule to accommodate seasonal production demands.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience working in a production or packaging facility, or with filling, labeling, and crowing equipment
- Works well independently and cooperatively with others
- Strong communication skills spanning all levels within the organization
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Must maintain a valid California driver's license and be insurable on the Company's automobile insurance policy
- Ability to follow directions, read maps, and ask for assistance when necessary
- Flexible schedule to accommodate for seasonal production demands
- Must have a clean driving record
- Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification preferred
