Job Summary
Duties include driving vans and box trucks to transport supplies and equipment to, from, and between school sites, loading/unloading delivery vehicles, scanning bar codes for inventory, maintaining paper and electronic records, operating warehouse equipment (e.g. hand trucks, pallet jacks) to move items, preparing delivery batches, contributing to physical inventories, organizing equipment in the warehouse, and collaborating with warehouse staff. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to drive, learn to use pallet jacks and lift gates, and strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive vans and box trucks safely on a daily basis
- Ability to learn to safely use machines required in warehouse operations (pallet jacks, etc.), and box truck lift gates
- Experience in delivery and warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to learn to use computer systems appropriate to inventory and work order tasks
- Ability to communicate clearly and positively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple daily tasks and delivery routes
- Ability to collaborate positively with other staff
