Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices. Unload deliveries, organize inventory within designated storage areas, and label, stock, and rotate merchandise using proper control procedures. Pick, pack, and distribute supplies, equipment, and materials to resort and casino departments while processing outgoing shipments, vendor returns, and transfers. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct routine cycle counts, and monitor stock levels to notify management of discrepancies or replenishment needs. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely while following all OSHA guidelines and company safety policies. Collaborate with Purchasing, Food & Beverage, Hotel Operations, and other departments to support operational needs in this fast-paced resort environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and inventory software
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures and conditions
- Flexible schedule required, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs dictate
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouses, receiving, inventory control, logistics, or a related field
- Experience in a hotel, resort, casino, or hospitality environment
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
- Experience of using inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS)
