Job Summary
Re-weigh all freight, verify cargo against documentation, and stage shipments in correct locations while ensuring wheels are chocked and brakes applied. Monitor for overage, shortage, or damage, documenting exceptions with photos and notifying the product leader immediately. Handle dangerous goods only if trained, unload trucks, and ensure all drivers are signed in and kept within the waiting area. Maintain warehouse security by locking doors, verifying ID, and keeping the area clean and trash-free. Escalate issues to supervisors via weekly or daily meetings, communicate delays proactively, and strive to exceed customer service expectations while meeting all deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Global logistics industry knowledge
- Software proficiency (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
- English language proficiency
- Preferred Forklift Truck license
