Job Summary
Handle e-commerce parcels within the cargo warehouse by introducing items through roller systems and x-ray units, inspecting cargo for tampering or damage, and reporting irregularities. Operate small specialized commercial vehicles and transfer freight using forklifts or hand trucks to move items between receiving areas, storage, and other designated zones. Weigh and count items for distribution to ensure conformance with company standards and air waybills, while performing cargo build-up and breakdown on skids, pallets, or ULDs. Screen cargo through physical searches and x-ray screening. This day shift role runs from 07:30 to 18:00, Sun-Wed and Thurs-Sun, with a pay rate of $19-$21 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- current driver's license with no violations over the past 5 years
- ability to speak, read, and write in English proficiently
- ability to lift at least 75 pounds on a continuous basis
- ability to pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal
- ability to pass pre-employment medical and a drug test
- ability to undergo and pass security clearances (10-year criminal background check), 5 years employment and educational verification, drug screen and physical test
