Job Summary
The Warehouse Agent is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely handling of inbound and outbound freight within the terminal, supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, kitting, shipping, and dispatch coordination while adhering to TSA regulations and client SOPs. Works with internal teams, drivers, customers, and vendors to ensure cargo is processed efficiently; requires experience in handling air and ocean freight in a freight-forwarding warehouse environment. Key duties include loading/unloading and staging freight, inspecting inbound freight for OS&D, operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), conducting dock checks, coordinating dispatch, and providing occasional billing/documentation support. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and effective communication with customers and team members are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a freight forwarding warehouse environment required.
- Experience in handling air cargo; familiarity with airport and port operations required.
