Job Summary
Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for children in a safe, engaging environment across SE Massachusetts program locations. Lead youth drills, games, and skill-building activities while maintaining a positive, high-energy atmosphere. Communicate effectively with parents regarding player progress and uphold Soccer Shots' curriculum and coaching standards. Adapt techniques for diverse age groups and skill levels. Set up and break down equipment at various sites. Requires CPR/First Aid certification, background check, and reliable transportation for flexible morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and a natural ability to connect with young athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both kids and parents
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across the SE Massachusetts region
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in soccer coaching, youth sports instruction, or child development preferred
