Wardrobe and Hair Manager

Job Summary
Oversees wardrobe and hair functions for shows, supervising Wardrobe and Hair Supervisors; organizes and manages show-specific fittings, rehearsals, and run crew documentation; ensures design integrity, safety, sanitation, and compliance with AEA guidelines and the production department procedures; leads recruitment, onboarding/off-boarding, performance reviews, and progressive discipline; administers payroll and expense reporting; collaborates with Costume Designer, Wig Leads, and Costume Shop to balance show requirements with resources; develops and manages Wardrobe and Hair budgets; participates in collective bargaining negotiations; fosters an inclusive, anti-racist work environment; communicates effectively and plans long- and short-term to support safe, efficient wardrobe and hair operations throughout the season.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Work Experience: 5 years of experience in professional theatrical wardrobe, preferably experience supervising projects and/or people in the entertainment industry
