Ward Host

Provide excellent compassionate service as Ward Host at St John of God Midland Private Hospital within the Catering Services team. Deliver patient meals and beverages accurately and in a timely manner, assist with menu selections, liaise with the kitchen to coordinate meal requests, and ensure meals are delivered to the correct patient with three-point identification checks. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and service areas, assist with dishwashing and cleaning, and follow food safety guidelines. Contribute to a positive patient experience through attentive, courteous, and responsive service, while supporting nurses and the Head Chef on Duty and adapting to ward requirements. Possess a Basic Food Safety certificate and a basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene; demonstrate strong verbal communication and listening skills, a friendly, people-oriented approach, and professional presentation.
