Ward Host

Provide excellent compassionate service delivering patient meals and beverages in a hospital setting. Assist with food preparation, liaise with the kitchen to coordinate meal requests, and ensure meals are delivered accurately and in a timely manner to patients, caregivers and visitors. Verify orders using 3-point identification, confirm allergies are declared, and collect meal trays/trolleys. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and service areas, and support with dishwashing and cleaning duties. Follow hospital procedures and guidance from Nurse Unit Manager and Head Chef on Duty. Seek opportunities for professional development and contribute feedback to improve the meal dining experience. Requires a Basic Food Safety certificate and delivers high-quality service in a patient-focused environment.
