Job Summary
Assist in organizing and coordinating daily activities within the Emergency Department as a Ward Clerk. Responsibilities include maintaining files, coordinating clerical workflows, entering patient care orders and follow-up, greeting personnel/visitors, coordinating patient care between providers, maintaining medical records and departmental logs, managing supplies, processing charges, and handling intradepartmental communications. Requires basic clerical skills, customer service, and strong communication abilities; formal clerical experience preferred; HS diploma or GED acceptable preferred.
