Job Summary
Monitor production lines, sanitation standards, and HACCP checks while completing label audits, weight checks, and documentation reviews. Assure proper execution of HACCP, TQC, and NTIS programs alongside company policies. Provide technical support and training on USDA regulation compliance, process control investigations, and food safety principles. Perform Poultry Inspection Sorter duties, including knife use and NPIS certification requirements. Maintain accurate legible documentation of all assigned responsibilities. Work Monday through Saturday from 6am to 4pm with pay ranging $1.65 above base production.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to learn to complete basic audits including HACCP monitoring and verification, SSAP preoperative and operative sanitation monitoring, weight control checks, on-line quality audits.
- Must be able to work independently and with others with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work for extended periods of time in a cool environment.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good attendance is essential; the applicant's prior attendance record will be considered.
- Must be willing to learn Poultry Inspection Sorter duties.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English and be able to communicate with management.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Able to stand on a stand
- Be able to pass certification to be NPIS Sorter
- Must be willing to learn Poultry Inspection Sorter duties.
- Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)

- Basic Computer Skills

- Previous evisceration experience
