Job Summary
Technical Field Manager (WAM) to support Weapons and Ammunition Management in Lebanon and Jordan. Leads and delivers technical training, oversees WAM operations, supports national authorities in ammunition safety and stockpile management, and coordinates delivery of International Ammunition Technical Courses across Lebanon and Jordan. Applies IATG standards, MOSAIC frameworks, and develops national standards for Small Arms and Light Weapons. Provides mentoring to national staff and government counterparts, supports programme reporting, and ensures safe execution of all technical activities. Requires AT/ATO qualification (IATG 01/90), IMAS Level 3+, experience delivering ammunition management training, English fluency, and strong leadership and communication skills. Salary £79,524 GBP per annum (~$107,400 USD) including allowances; accommodation, flights, and visa support provided; background checks required. Role based in Lebanon and Jordan with in-country operations.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised AT or ATO qualification in accordance with IATG 01/90
- An IMAS Level 3+ qualification
- Experience delivering International Ammunition Technical Courses or equivalent ammunition management training
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and coordinate technical activities in challenging environments
