Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst with Charles River CRIMS expertise to join EY’s Investment Technology team. Responsible for gathering requirements from PMs and traders, translating them into functional designs for CRIMS modules (OMS, PM, Compliance), configuring CRIMS components (workflows, dashboards, blotters, user profiles), and supporting daily CRIMS operations including trade flow, compliance checks, and order lifecycle management. Lead or participate in CRIMS upgrades and new module implementations; conduct impact assessments, regression testing, and UAT planning; coordinate with Charles River/State Street support; ensure high-quality data (securities, prices, exposures); manage data interfaces between CRIMS and downstream/upstream systems (Portfolio Accounting, EMS/FIX networks, risk systems, reporting tools); provide stakeholder training and create SOPs, release notes, and process guides. Preferred skills include 5–7 years in investment-management tech, CRIMS proficiency across OMS/Compliance/PM, strong SQL/data analysis, Agile/Scrum experience, familiarity with FIX connectivity, IBOR/ABOR, cloud-based CRD/SaaS, and CFA/FRM progress. The role offers high-impact collaboration with PMs, Traders, and Compliance, and opportunities to shape front-office workflows and technology transformation.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in investment management or asset management technology
- Hands-on experience with Charles River IMS (v23R1 and above preferred) across OMS, Compliance, or PM modules
- Strong understanding of investment products: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Money Markets
- Knowledge of front-to-back investment workflows: order generation, trading, compliance, settlements, and performance
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools for troubleshooting issues
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
