Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to adults and geriatrics in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, and develop treatment plans. Apply psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Licensure in WA (Nursing and Pharmacy/DEA) with prescriptive authority. 1 year of geriatric psychiatry and SNF/acute rehab treatment experience required. EMR/EHR experience (Athena I preferred). Flexible schedule; W2 or Independent Contractor options; Spanish language skills a plus. Compensation is billable hourly with options for W2 or IC. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and comprehensive package; 401k with company match.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus)
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
