Seeking motivated volunteers to lead weekly walking groups for the Diabetes Education Program, focusing on promoting physical activity and social connection. Required Qualifications
- Lived experience with Type 2 Diabetes
- Prior participation in a Diabetes Education Program (DEP)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a group
- Comfortable leading outdoor walking sessions for up to 2 hours
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable and punctual
