Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments and deliver ACLS interventions during emergency transport, ensuring safe monitoring and medical management. Operate emergency vehicles in compliance with traffic laws while maintaining response-ready equipment through routine checks and restocking. Complete all patient care reports accurately in the approved electronic system and communicate effectively with dispatch, partner agencies, and receiving facilities. Support EMT partners through teamwork and collaborate on ongoing training, drills, and quality improvement efforts. Requires current State Paramedic licensure, NREMT certification, and 2 years of relevant experience. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Paramedic or similar medical role experience
- Current State Paramedic licensure in good standing
- Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state)
- Current CPR: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS certifications
- Valid State driver's license
- FEMA IS Certifications (IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800)
- Current Ventilator certification with required renewal every three years
- Successful completion of written and practical exam
- Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions in English
- 12 Hour Shift
- 24 Hour Shift
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certification or advanced training in emergency services: Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS); Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training
