Job Summary
Walk-In Clinic Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) for Olympic Medical Physicians in Port Angeles or Sequim. Outpatient primary-care level care with no call, 100% FTE days, rotating weekends/holidays in a rural multi-specialty system. Collaborates with Walk-In Clinic physicians to provide person-centered care to patients of all ages. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness pending individual eligibility. Requires completion of an accredited PA program with WA state licensure or an MSN/NP degree with WA prescriptive authority, DEA registration, and BLS. Preference for 2 years APC experience but not required. Responsibilities include autonomous patient evaluation, treatment planning, prescription of medications per scope, and adherence to medical staff requirements, with ongoing education and participation in a team-based care environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State OR Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree
- Washington State RN Licensure and prescriptive authority or WA PA-C licensure with prescriptive authority
- DEA registration
- BLS certification
- Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff
