Job Summary
Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, complete transactions, and answer store questions while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor. Independently stock shelves, recover merchandise, and help unload trucks by transporting items from the stockroom to the sales floor. Accurately handle funds and process transactions using the POS system while ensuring a safe and secure environment. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, and working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer completion of high school or equivalent
- Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned
- Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs from floor level to above shoulder height
- Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
