Job Summary
Waking night shift role at a brand-new Hampshire Children’s Home in Romsey for residential care of children with complex emotional/behavioural/mental health needs. Responsibilities include safeguarding, risk assessment, behaviour management, accurate record-keeping, adherence to policies and procedures, reporting concerns, following individual care plans, and completing relevant training to support children’s wellbeing and development. The role focuses on direct work with children, requiring a child-centered approach and the ability to build warm, positive relationships, with potential on-the-job training and progression opportunities. The position offers permanent, full-time hours (25.9 hours per week) with weekend and bank holiday shifts; salary components include base pay, market supplement, and enhancements.
