Job Summary
Greet residents, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with caring hospitality while maintaining high dining room set-up and sanitation standards. Remove courses, replenish utensils and glasses, monitor the salad bar for freshness, and transmit orders to the kitchen staff. Inspect prepared food for quality and temperature, resolve patron complaints professionally, and present daily menu specials. Assist with catering, cleaning, and kitchen duties as needed, ensuring proper food handling and alcohol beverage control policies are followed. Shifts include 10am–8pm and two weekends off. Requires Alcohol Servers License, 1–2 years wait-staff experience, and attendance at mandatory training within 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Alcohol Servers License
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language and follow written and oral instructions
- Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service experiences to all patrons in the dining room
- Must attend Wait-Staff Training class within 30 days after hire date and adhere to the procedures and standards set forth in the training
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Willing to adjust personal schedule when needed
- Arrives on time and ready to work at the start of the assigned shift
- Dresses in a professional manner and according to dress code policy
