Job Summary
Responsible for providing prompt, pleasant, and efficient service to dining room residents. Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring confidentiality of resident information, and following dietary instructions. The role involves proper dining setup, safe food handling, and assisting with food preparation and service in accordance with safety guidelines. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience in a relevant role, and a passion for working with senior citizens.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in 'front of the house operations' within restaurant, hotel, club or similar environment
- Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens
- Must have patience, tact, and cheerful disposition
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and associates
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations
Additional Requirements
- Must disclose any medication that might impair associate’s ability to perform the job safely or competently
