Job Summary
Greet guests with warmth, take accurate food and beverage orders, and deliver them efficiently while maintaining awareness of table needs. Clear tables promptly to service standards, process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, and collaborate seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping staff. Demonstrate comprehensive menu knowledge, anticipate guest needs proactively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities during busy periods. Maintain impeccable grooming and presentation standards while ensuring cultural sensitivity in our Jeddah location. This role is part of Accor's hospitality team in Saudi Arabia, where every gesture contributes to a memorable dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a waiter, server, or similar food service role in a professional dining environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest interactions
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tables and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture
- Physical stamina and capability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and carry items safely throughout your shift
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in order-taking, billing, and service execution
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused when handling challenging situations or demanding guests
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification
