Job Summary
Complete daily set-up, stocking, tear-down, and sanitization of service areas and front-of-house sections. Keep floors, chairs, and tables clean; pre-buss and re-set tables throughout the shift. Serve and receive payment for food and alcoholic drinks while describing menus, promoting specials, and answering guest questions about ingredients and other outlet options. Immediately communicate with management regarding guest concerns or complaints and report maintenance needs for dining or bar areas. Follow all state, local, federal, and Pleasant Mountain guidelines on liquor service and the Boyne Brand Standard Audit. Assist with opening and closing duties, cash outs, and side work as assigned. Be physically able to stand, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds during peak volume periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to quickly and correctly answer guest questions regarding the menu, upselling, ingredients, and offer suggestions
- Must have knowledge of liquor service, availability of specialty cocktails, and commonly ordered alcoholic beverages for upselling and guest questions
- Must be able to verbally promote drink specials, wine list, and beer selections as well as any entr�e/app specials not on the printed menus
- Must be able to inform guests of the menu choices at other mountain restaurants, promote area activities and be able to answer general knowledge questions involving the ski mountain
- Must be able to describe all items on the outlet's drink, wine, and food menus
- Be physically able to spend the majority of their workday on their feet while pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have T.I.P.S. training and relevant experience
