Job Summary
Wait on residents and guests in dining areas, serving food and beverages with proper portions while replenishing supplies throughout meal service. Attending pre-meal meetings and ensuring all items are set up before doors open. Prepare coffee and hot water as needed, vacuum assigned areas, and thoroughly clean tables, chairs, and countertops. Familiarize yourself with all menu items, garnishes, and fresh fruits to answer resident questions. Use proper serving and food handling techniques while maintaining a cheerful demeanor and clean work appearance. Variable day and evening hours required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
- Must have a cheerful demeanor
- Must have clean, neat work appearance
- Ability to lift weights of up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and/or walk most of the shift
