Job Summary
Serve food to residents and guests while managing dishwashing and housekeeping duties in dining areas. Set up tables, deliver room trays, and maintain sanitary conditions by following infection control procedures. Apply knowledge of therapeutic diets during service and safeguard resident privacy by complying with HIPAA regulations. Interact positively with residents to foster a homelike environment and report any incidents of abuse or rights violations immediately. Requires physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work full-time hours from 6AM to 2PM.
Required Qualifications
- Physical condition allowing for normal kitchen duties including but not limited to; lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grabbing, pushing, pulling, standing or walking an entire shift, use of arms and hands with dexterity, ability to read and understand directions
- Ability to communicate in a friendly manner to residents and coworkers in English
- Comfort in working in a Christian Retirement Center environment
- Note: Schedule must be flexible and open for weekend shifts
