Job Summary
Set wait stations and keep them stocked and cleaned. Bus and reset tables as needed. Take resident meal orders accurately, accommodating prescribed diets, preferences, and food allergies with prompt, courteous service. Assist with plate preparation and serving residents. Perform assigned opening and closing duties efficiently. Inform cooks and supervisors of any questions, reactions, or problems. Assist at special events as requested. Adhere to the food service disaster plan, Eskaton's core values, and all safety guidelines. Maintain attendance per policy and follow the dress code. Starting pay ranges from $17.40 to $20.40 per hour. High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D. preferred, with prior restaurant experience and a California Food Handler certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D.
- California Food Handler
- Understanding of the philosophy of quality customer service and satisfaction
- Must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen
- All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred
