Job Summary
Wage & Compensation Specialist providing administrative HR support, including pre-employment screenings, offer letters, onboarding, new hire orientation, and managing compensation-related information in Workday; acts as a contact for employees and managers regarding wage/compensation policies, ensures compliance with laws, maintains confidential employee records, and supports safety programs while collaborating with leadership to optimize HR processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred)
- 1-3 years’ experience in human resources
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understand methods, practices, terminology, and procedures used in human resources
- Understand State and Federal laws, concerning human resources
- Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Skilled at meeting schedules and deadlines of the work area
- Skilled at compiling data for correspondence or reports
- Skilled at determining work priorities
- Excellent communication skills
