Job Summary
Operate equipment and perform processes to build hardware in a class 100 cleanroom, including wafer mount, demount, coat, expose, develop, wet etch, hotplate, surface treatment, inspection, deposition, and metrology. Accurately perform individual process steps, handle fragile hardware, and manipulate small parts while rigorously following written procedures. Document data on travelers and in electronic tracking systems, and execute specialized communications with leads and senior operators to troubleshoot issues. Work in a Safety-First environment under yellow lights wearing a full bunny suit. This 100% onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and minimum two years of cleanroom fabrication experience. The position is a 2nd shift (2PM–10:30PM PST) at Raytheon in Goleta, California, with an hourly range of $27 to $32.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent
- Experience in MS Office (Excel)
- Ability to work in a class 100 cleanroom, in a full bunny suit, under yellow lights
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials
- The flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends to meet the factory's needs
Desired Qualifications
- More than 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent
- Experience in Photolithography, Wet Etch, Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells
- Ability to multitask
