Job Summary
Conduct daily care for seniors in a senior living building, focusing on life and moving residents up to 50 pounds independently and up to 190 pounds with assistance. Communicate effectively with residents and staff in English. Maintain HCA or CNA certification and possess applicable state-required certifications. Prioritize candidates with one year of relevant experience working with older adults. Work PT day shifts on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
Required Qualifications
- HCA and/or CNA certification
- Applicable certifications as required by state
- Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 190 pounds with assistance of a second employee and/or mechanical devices
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year relevant experience working with older adults
