Job Summary
Manage anesthesia for diverse case types including endoscopy, vascular, ENT, OB/GYN, neurosurgery, orthopedic, ophthalmology, plastics, and podiatry within a Level I trauma center environment. Deliver optimal patient care while adapting to changing clinical situations and interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Engage in clinical teaching and professional growth opportunities within an academic faculty setting at the University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas
- Minimum of 0-1 years of experience as a CRNA
- Proficiency in various anesthesia cases
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care
- BLS and ACLS certifications
