Job Summary
Conduct anesthesia management for diverse patient populations including general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, and OB/GYN cases. Work independently with backup support available, performing OB and regional anesthesia while acquiring neonatal resuscitation certification for the OB department. Maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and deliver optimal patient care across all case types. Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA
- Proficiency in Ob and regional cases
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Neonatal resuscitation certification (either pre-employment or directly after for the OB department)
Desired Qualifications
- OB and Regional anesthesia skills (highly preferred, but facility is willing to train)
