Job Summary
Manage anesthesia for OB, GYN, GI, podiatry, urology, and general cases in a solo, independent practice model with full clinical autonomy. Complete cases typically before lunch with no in-house call, maintaining a 30-minute response time for emergencies. Maintain current NBCRNA certification, unrestricted Texas licenses, and BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials while delivering care across diverse patient populations. This independent contractor role offers low case volume under 100 monthly, semi-monthly pay, and access to group-rate health benefits within a quiet West Texas community.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA
- Proficiency in OB/GYN, GI, podiatry, urology and general cases
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Must be comfortable practicing autonomously
- Must be available for independent, solo CRNA model with full clinical autonomy
