Job Summary
Drive dry van freight regionally as a 1099 solo contractor, handling 100% drop and hook loads with no driver load or unload duties. Operate a Fleetliner truck governed at 75 mph, averaging 1,500 to 3,000 miles weekly across mostly manual semi-trucks. Earn $1,300 to $1,500 gross weekly with five expected days out, receiving two days of home time for every five days worked. Note that weekends are not guaranteed, pets and riders are prohibited, and the truck cannot be taken home. Requires a Class A license without E, L, Z, G, O, or K restrictions and two years of tractor trailer experience.
