Job Summary
Sell consultatively to pharma, biotech, and industrial clients in the Chicago area, managing a sales territory and developing strategic plans to meet sales growth and quota attainment. Leverage Avantor's extensive product portfolio, build relationships with manufacturers and customers, collaborate with other sales teammates and specialists, and travel to customer locations to deliver value propositions and proposals. Strong communication, analytical, and team-interaction skills are emphasized, with experience in solution-based selling and CRM/Qlikview systems. The role requires independent time management and the ability to navigate business discussions with owners and decision makers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent/applicable experience required
- 2-5 years of experience in a complex sales environment
- CRM experience
- experience with Microsoft Office/Teams
- travel to customer locations minimum 4 days a week; valid driver's license
