Job Summary
Vulnerability Researcher to identify flaws in software and conduct independent research. The role requires strong proficiency in C, ASM, and Python, reverse engineering with IDA/Ghidra/Binary Ninja, dynamic and static binary analysis, fuzzing techniques, and extensive debugging (GDB/ADB). Candidates must be a US citizen with a TS or higher security clearance at the time of application and possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, plus seven+ years of professional experience. Responsibilities include documenting research, following best practices, and self-driven tasking. Relocation assistance is offered; remote work is not an option. Location: Vienna, VA. Candidates should be prepared for federal contractor requirements and vaccination policies.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen
- Must hold a US government security clearance at the TS Level or higher at time of application
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or closely related degree
- Seven or more years of professional experience outside of a classroom setting
- Strong C, ASM, and Python development experience
- Reverse engineering using IDA, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja
- Experience with dynamic and static binary analysis & fuzzing techniques
- Extensive experience with debuggers (GDB, ADB, etc.)
- Experience auditing code for security vulnerabilities
- Demonstrated ability to self-drive research tasking
- Motivated to learn complex systems
