Job Summary
Vulnerability Engineer to design, deploy, and operate security solutions across DoD clients; monitor, detect and respond to potentially malicious cyber activity; create standard operating procedures for a zero-trust security posture; coordinate with a multi-discipline zero-trust engineering team; mentor junior cybersecurity engineers; participates in defining secure architectures and engineering practices for national security programs.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring data security solutions
- Experience with SIEM tools for visibility and analytics, including Elastic
- Experience with operating systems, including Linux, networking, cloud and containers
- Experience in cyber event analytics and workflow
- Experience documenting and diagraming workflow processes
- Knowledge of scan capabilities, assets management visibility, and patch management systems
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Nice If You Have: Red Team experience, DoD/IC environment experience, containerization management, Splunk, security engineering or cloud security knowledge, federal information security policies and risk management processes, Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity/Engineering (nice-to-have)
- GEVA, CySA+ or CEH Certification
