Vulnerability Engineer

Job Summary
Analysis, remediation and monitoring of vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors across the company’s Tech environment. Responsibilities include active scanning to identify gaps, tracking and prioritizing threats, understanding potential impact of vulnerabilities, implementing security controls and technical safeguards, and conducting recurring audits and penetration tests to improve the security posture. Required strong technical security expertise, with certifications in recognized security bodies preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High technical experience and full understanding of security concepts
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, EC-Council, CISSP, and/or CISM
- Demonstrated ability to perform fast remediations during high priority Infosec situations
- Experience with active scanning, threat monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and remediation in infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of industry security baselines and configuration management
- Experience with threat intelligence and intrusion prevention
