Job Summary
Bartender at VUE Bistros (CN Tower) prepares and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks per established recipes for guests and Event/Counter Servers, maintains a clean, stocked bar area, handles opening/closing duties, inventories par stock, and operates the POS system. Responsibilities include making hot beverages per supplier specs, maintaining CO2 tanks per SOPs/MSDS, completing bar inventory and beer counts, and ensuring compliance with Smart Serve. Requires 1–3 years bartender experience, secondary-school diploma, Smart Serve certification, and beverage/F&B knowledge; English/French bilingualism is an asset. Flexible to rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime; uniform provided. Rate of pay is $22.98/hour.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience in a Bartender capacity is required
- A diploma from a secondary school is required
- Wine and spirits courses or programs, Bartending schooling is an asset
- Food and Beverage knowledge
- Food and Beverage POS software skills is an asset
- Smart Serve certification is required
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
