Job Summary
Responsible for design, implementation and operation of VTC systems, integration with wired/wireless LANs; conduct site surveys for device placement; perform network testing and evaluation for performance and security; diagnose and resolve VTC and network issues; operate and maintain VTC, IT and network infrastructure; implement/manage VTC network configurations across production, lab and test environments; collaborate with technical teams and maintain documentation; coordinate IP space management and report VTC health; 24/7 operations support with shift and weekend work; requires US citizenship, Public Trust/DoD Secret Clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level I/II; CCNA/CWNP/BICSI desirable; strong technical writing and MS Office skills; familiarity with telecom cabling; driving ability; able to climb ladders and lift 40 lbs; on-site at Ashburn, VA and Phoenix, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Public Trust and/or DoD Secret Clearance
- High School plus specialized training
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I or II compliance
- CCNA
- CWNP
- BICSI
- Strong technical writing skills
- Microsoft Office Suite including Visio
- Familiarity with telecommunication room standards, CAT 6 and fiber optic cabling
- Experience with VTC systems, network administration, operations, and infrastructure support
- License/ability to drive a vehicle
- Ability to climb a ladder and lift at least 40lbs
- US citizenship
