Job Summary

Provider Operations Analyst to own day-to-day health and management of Circit’s banking API provider network (50+ banking connections, 7k+ endpoints). Act as Circit’s interlocutor with banks, coordinate tri-directional relationships between clients, banks, and engineering, monitor API connectivity, and identify issues before they impact clients. Responsibilities include proactive monitoring of provider API health, SWIFT exception management, provider verification across SWIFT/Pl aid/Blink, activation/onboarding support for new bank connections, post-go-live client support and authorisation guides, collaboration with product teams (20-30% embedded with product), and building operational playbooks. Qualifications emphasize data-driven mindset, API literacy, AI fluency, SQL/data querying ability, strong written communication, proactive problem-solving, and organizational skills. Remote-friendly with Dublin, Ireland as a primary location; open to distributed fintech operations and cross-functional collaboration with product and support teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, technical support, implementation, or related role — in fintech, SaaS, banking, or technology
  • Data-driven mindset — you think in dashboards, metrics, and trends. Ability to read and interpret monitoring data, spot anomalies across large datasets, and investigate root causes. Basic SQL or data querying ability is a strong plus
  • AI fluency as a core working skill — you actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) as daily productivity multipliers — for data analysis, drafting communications, triaging issues, and automating repetitive workflows. You understand what AI does well and where it falls short, and you apply judgment on top of AI outputs rather than accepting them uncritically
  • API literacy — understanding of what APIs are, how REST APIs work, and what terms like OAuth, webhooks, and authentication flows mean (you don\'t need to build APIs, but you need to understand how bank API connectivity works)
  • Strong written communication — ability to write clear, professional communications to bank technical contacts, internal teams, and client-facing stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving orientation — you notice things before they break and follow through without being asked
  • Organizational ability — can manage multiple provider relationships and operational workflows simultaneously without dropping balls
  • Preferred Qualifications (select): experience in open banking, bank connectivity, or financial services operations; familiarity with SWIFT messaging, bank connectivity protocols, or API aggregation platforms; experience with monitoring/observability tools; experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Intercom, Zendesk, DevOps); understanding of data quality concepts and how to interpret DQ metrics across large datasets; exposure to banking or API connectivity operations from either the bank side or the fintech side; interest in product management as a career direction
