Job Summary
Analyze Not Right First Time (NRFT) issues and lead problem-solving activities to assist engineering with solutions and cycle time reductions. Perform all quality checks, machine calibrations, and process improvement strategies while supervising daily activities and projects in assigned laser and coating areas. Provide technical support to production lines, assist with equipment runoffs, and create work instructions. Lead training activities for new hires and production personnel during runoffs and new equipment launches. Communicate issues affecting Environment, Health, Safety, or Quality to management. Requires 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ in CSB Laser/Coating, flexible schedule, and ability to travel for machine runoffs or training.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Manufacturing experience
- 2+ years within CSB department in Laser and Coating
- Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, shop floor team lead, Floater, or set up experience
- Can proactively identify problems with Not Right First Time and implement solutions
- Can identify mechanical issues and assist TEF with solutions and any training needed to TEF
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule in support of business objectives
- Ability to establish a strong working relationship within CSB department and demonstrate credibility and trustworthiness
- Willing to travel when needed for machine runoffs or training
- Passport and international travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Currently in a Lead, Floating position, or set up role
- Preferred: Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, shop floor team lead, Floater, or set up experience
