Job Summary
Conduct preventive conservation tasks and monitor the physical condition of national sports heritage objects. Register damage or risks, advise on safe storage and handling, and fabricate custom supports and protective packaging. Guide internal object relocations and support loans, transports, and exhibitions. Collaborate with the curator, registrars, and depot manager to improve depot facilities and contribute to the professionalization of collection care. Perform these duties approximately one day per week in Arnhem, with travel expenses reimbursed. A Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) is required prior to starting.
Required Qualifications
- mbo+/hbo werk- en denkniveau
- affiniteit met musea, cultureel erfgoed of collectiebeheer
- belangstelling voor preventieve conservering
- een nauwkeurige, zorgvuldige en kwaliteitsgerichte werkhouding
- goede handvaardigheid bij het werken met kwetsbare museumobjecten
- goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal in woord en geschrift
- een praktische instelling en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel
- een teamspeler die graag samenwerkt
- een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG)
Desired Qualifications
- Kennis van preventieve conservering, collectiebeheer of collectiebeheersystemen (zoals Adlib of vergelijkbare systemen)
