VPS Trainee

Job Summary
Participate in a structured VPS trainee program to learn and apply Valeo Production System (VPS) tools and methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Standardized Work, SMED, TPM, Value Stream Mapping). Support VPS initiatives across production lines and operational areas; participate in workshops and continuous improvement projects; collect and analyze data related to production performance, waste reduction, and efficiency metrics; identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement; collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to deploy VPS; prepare reports and presentations on project progress; contribute to development and standardization of best practices; adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or a strong willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proactive attitude with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Fluency in Spanish and English is highly desirable
