VPK Teacher and Elementary After-School Teacher

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate VPK instruction aligned to Florida Early Learning and Development Standards and VPK benchmarks using Grace Place curriculum (Creative Curriculum and approved resources). Deliver whole-group, small-group, and center-based instruction to promote literacy, language, math, social-emotional development, and executive functioning; differentiate instruction based on data; maintain a safe, compliant classroom environment; collaborate with co-teachers, volunteers, and families; administer FAST Star Early Literacy and other VPK assessments; complete Teaching Strategies Gold checkpoints and Grace Place assessments; analyze data to inform instruction and identify learning gaps; conduct conferences and family engagement activities; ensure compliance with DCF and licensing requirements; participate in professional development and program initiatives; maintain accurate records and progress monitoring data; support kindergarten readiness goals; communicate regularly with families about progress and milestones; support a culturally responsive environment and partner with leadership on interventions and referrals when appropriate.
