VPK Assistant Teacher

Create a nurturing, safe, and organized learning environment for preschool children while supporting daily schedules, routines, and transitions. Lead and assist with activities promoting physical, cognitive, and social development, including arts, crafts, storytelling, and music. Observe and document children's behavior, development, and progress, assisting with developmental screenings, assessments, and anecdotal notes. Prepare learning materials, maintain classroom centers, and communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities and progress. Ensure compliance with Florida state regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards by conducting daily safety checks and maintaining required child-to-staff ratios. Engage positively with children to support emotional, social, and educational growth while preparing for VPK graduation events.
