Job Summary
Vice President II of Software Engineering leading the Investor Experience Technology organization, partnering with engineering, product, and design to deliver world-class investor-facing web and mobile platforms. Responsible for managing and coaching a software development team, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring high quality standards, scalable architectures, and integration patterns. Drives AI-enabled engineering transformation, adoption of AI-assisted practices (code generation, automated testing, developer copilots), and collaboration with solution architecture to establish patterns for scalable platforms. Focuses on stakeholder management, risk mitigation (cybersecurity, data privacy, regulatory compliance), and continuous improvement, while guiding strategic planning to leverage machine learning, analytics, and automation to modernize workflows and improve client experience.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Full-stack development designing interactive web applications, developing microservices, public cloud solutions, web services (REST APIs), Kafka messaging, and integrating with vendor APIs
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a Manager/Tech Lead capacity
- Minimum of 5+ years in a Solution Architect capacity, designing and implementing complex systems, including developing solutions from scratch
